Dr. Ruth Schmidtchen is originally from Pittsburgh but spent most of her life in Utah.
Currently residing in Madison, Indiana. She is interested in integrative medicine, rehabilitation, emergency medicine, and geriatric and wellness care for patients. Dr. Schmidtchen graduated from Purdue University twice in Nutrition and Dietetics and Veterinary Medicine. Her Master's degree was obtained at the University of Utah in Kinesiology. Dr. Schmidtchen is certified in canine rehabilitation, medical acupuncture, and veterinary spinal manipulation.
Dr. Schmidtchen cares for 3 rescue dogs at home. Off duty interests include snow skiing, backpacking, and hiking in our national parks.
