Dr. Melissa Marsili was born in Chicago, Illinois area.
Dr. Marsili went to the University of Louisville for her undergraduate career where she got her bachelor's degree in biology and participated in collegiate cheerleading. She moved back home and attended the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine to receive her doctorate. Her interests are surgery, internal medicine, and critical care, but Overall believes that all areas of veterinary medicine are integrative.
Dr. Marsili shares her home with her husband Frank and their two cats "Oscar pickles" and "Milo jalapeño". Outside of veterinary medicine, She enjoys spending time with friends and family and outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and participating in various sports.
