Dr. Lauren Carcara graduated from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.
A Louisville native, she has been practicing at the Shelbyville Road Veterinary Clinic since June 2007.
Dr. Carcara and her husband share their home with Zeppole, a Nova Scotia Duck Toller Retriever, and Saoirse, an Australian Cattle dog. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers, playing ice hockey, participating in dog sports, and reading a good book in her hammock.
Dr. Carcara has previously worked as an emergency clinician at BluePearl Veterinary Partners for 7 years, as well as Veterinary Specialist Partners.
